Game Theoretic Liquidity Provisioning in Concentrated Liquidity Market Makers

This paper formulates and analyzes a game theoretic model to study the incentives of liquidity providers in concentrated liquidity market makers (CLMMs), showing that Nash equilibrium follows a waterfilling strategy and demonstrating how LPs can improve returns by optimizing their strategies.

Co-authored by Allium Co-founders
Ethan Chan and Cheng Han Lee, co-founders of Allium, contributed to this research on automated market makers and liquidity provision strategies.

Cross-Chain Arbitrage: The Next Frontier of MEV in Decentralized Finance

"We collected transaction-level trading data for our nine blockchains using Allium, an external blockchain data provider. Through Allium's protocol labels, we identified 108 different protocols involved in the cross-chain arbitrages that we detected, which we believe provides sufficient coverage."

Research Scale:
Analyzed 242,535 executed arbitrages totaling $868.64 million across nine blockchains over one year (September 2023 - August 2024) using Allium's comprehensive blockchain data.

On-Chain Analysis of Smart Contract Dependency Risks on Ethereum

"We use the state-of-the-art blockchain analytics platform Allium. We have compared them against ground truth data obtained from a self-hosted Erigon node. Our results indicate that Allium delivers the highest accuracy."

Research Scale & Accuracy:
First large-scale empirical study analyzing over 41 million contracts and 11 billion interactions on Ethereum up to December 2024. Independent verification confirmed Allium's superior accuracy against self-hosted node data.
