Algorithmic Techniques for Utility Improvement Across the Blockchain Stack

Carnegie Mellon University ProQuest Dissertations & Theses, 2024. 31564783.

As I start writing this chapter, it struck me that my identity as a student at Carnegie Mellon is about to officially end within a month. When I boarded the plane leaving Pittsburgh, I never thought I would be so sad a few weeks later to say goodbye to all the years of life and research at CMU.

I would like to acknowledge CMU for this precious opportunity to live and initiate my career as a PhD student. I feel fortunate for being inside a friendly and caring environment, especially as an international student. I would also like to thank my family, my friends, my fellow researchers, and everyone else who has thus far supported me. It would be much harder for me to complete my doctoral studies without their help.
